If a landlord has a tenant who is at risk of external violence then they should advise their tenant to contact the Police and the Council’s Antisocial Behaviour Team in the first instance, they may be able to assist in sorting out any problems the tenant is having. If this method does not help then the landlord should advise the tenant to contact the Housing Options Office and request a Homeless Persons Interview. They will then be given a date and time to meet a Homeless Persons Officer who will take various details and assess their situation. Housing Options number is 01563 554554.
