What should a Hotpoint fridge temperature be?
Your Hotpoint fridge is designed to operate at a temperature ranging from 0.5 degrees in the coldest part up to 5 degrees inthe warmest part. As warm air rises and cold air falls it is safe to say that the best way to store your food is to place it in the most appropriate shelf compartment, as shown in the diagram below. • Zone A – Cool Dairy Products, Cheese, Butter, Margarine, Low Fat Spreads, Cooking Fats/Lards, Preserves, Jams, Curs, Marmalade, Salad Dressing or Sauces • Zone B – Colder General Food Storage • Zone C – Coldest Meat, fish & poultry, Pre-cooked/chilled food • Zone D – Salad Bin, Vegetables, Fruit and Salad Items PLEASE READ: In the interest of consumer safety, any adjustments, alterations or replacement parts should only be made or fitted by a suitably qualified and competent person with the machine disconnected from the mains supply.
