What shots are required by UMHB?
If the student graduated from a Texas high school they have all the required shots for UMHB unless they have been outside the US within the last year. Then a TB skin test will be required. We strongly recommend if they live in campus housing that they consider getting the Meningitis Vaccine. In addition, we suggest Hepatitis A and if female, Gardasil (HPV) Vaccine. All of these shots may be obtained through their local health department at a substantial savings if received while the student is 18 or younger.
