What shoes to wear with evening gown?
I recommend you allow the gown to be the star and keep the shoes very simple and elegant. Moderately high heels, as comfortable as possible (the more comfortable you are, the more YOU will shine), and if economically feasible choose from a high-end line like Stuart Weitzman, Ferragamo, etc. I have found for myself that Hush Puppies’ Princess Soft Style pumps fit the bill in that they’re reasonably priced and once broken in are as comfortable as tennis shoes. If you have particularly lovely feet, then depending on the event you may prefer to expose more foot. Look at bridal and fashion magazines and websites (look up “evening gowns” with keywords that match your style, like “empire waist” or “red” then look at the Image results for shoe ideas.
