What share classes are available?
MainStay Funds are offered in three retail share classes: A, B, and C (except for MainStay Equity Index, Indexed Bond, S&P 500 Index, and Short Term Bond Funds which offer only Class A shares). There are also share classes for institutional investors (Class I) and employer-sponsored plans (Class R1 and Class R2).
