What settings are required if users both roam and use DOLS?
The Notes/Domino Administrator must edit the Domino Off-Line Services (DOLS) Security Policy document contained in the Doladmin.nsf database and “enable” the Roaming Users option, as follows: 1. Open Domino 6.x Administrator. 2. Click the Configuration tab. 3. Click Off-line Services/Security (view). 4. On the Basics tab, go to the Roaming Users field. Select this box to set the Domino Server to behave appropriately with Roaming Users who access the subscription. This will override the Security Policy for Roaming Users. The server will recognize the user as a Roaming User, ignore the current security policy, and find the user’s ID on the user’s home server and download it.
