The scope of our music education major program is unique. Our five-year program is unmatched among Christian (and many secular) colleges in terms of the breadth of coursework and fieldwork. Required courses that you will not find on the worksheets of pre-service teachers and many other institutions include: Early Childhood Music, Pre-Band Methods, Secondary General Music Strategies, 20th Century Music History and Theory, 18th Century Counterpoint, Orchestration, Form & Analysis, Introduction to Music Engraving, and specialized arranging courses. All of this takes place within an uncompromising Christian worldview, alongside a rigorous series of Bible content courses. The content of our methodology is unique.
