What sets D&D Online apart from other MMORPGs already available?
D&D Online is being developed around the d20 rules used in the latest version (3.5) of Dungeons & Dragons, the pen and paper RPG published by Wizards of the Coast. It is the first game of its type to take the D&D game and convert it into an MMORPG world. While many creatures available or used in D&D have been used in other MMORPGs, D&D Online is the first MMORPG that will be able to capture the exact feel and attributes of the d20 game system, giving players the opportunity to create characters in-game that they have experienced creating in their pen and paper games and set them lose in a dynamic and complex world. D&D Online is also the first game to use the Eberron Campaign Setting and will delve into the myseries of Xen’drik, a continent in the south-west hemisphere of Eberron.
