What services will the WTC Health Program cover?
The WTC Health Program provides a comprehensive medical screening, at no cost, allowing healthcare staff to evaluate your health, to diagnose, provide early detection and individualized treatment plans. Survivors who have been certified as eligible for an initial screening will receive a one-time free medical screening evaluation at no cost. If survivors are then certified as having a WTC covered condition, they will continue to receive monitoring and treatment services as no cost. The WTC Health Program includes: • Electrocardiogram • Chest imaging • Screenings for certain diseases • Testing for pulmonary function and hearing • WTC-specific medical and mental health computer surveys • Mental health interview with a mental health professional • Follow-up by healthcare professionals to assist you with the progress of your personal treatment plan based on the health issues identified by your healthcare providers.
