What services for the homeless does Tempe currently provide?
There are no shelters or day services for the homeless in Tempe. Showers are available to the homeless on a first-come-first-serve basis only twice a week (Monday and Friday) at only one location, the First United Methodist Church. We discovered that 30% of those benefiting from I-HELP who have obtained jobs, have then lost those jobs due their inability to bathe.
