● Resource Network – Parent Educators/Staff help families identify and connect with needed resources. Programs take on an active role in establishing ongoing collaborative relationships with other organizations that serve families. ● Connection With Quality Preschool Programs – The PIE Staff can assist in connecting families with quality preschools. There is a collaborative community effort that is involved in programs and services for preschool children and their parents. ● Group Meetings – Provide opportunities to share information about parenting issues, child development and practice parenting skills. These meetings are offered two times per week. ● Early Screenings – Periodic developmental screening are provided through the use of the Ages and Stages Program. ● Personal Home Visits – A trained Parent Educator will make regularly scheduled visits to the home and share age-appropriate child development information with parents of children birth-five, not yet in kindergarten.
