What services are included in the annual Well-Woman Exam?
The annual well-woman exam must be provided by a contracting OB/GYN or your PCP and only includes the following services: • Physical exam • Pap smear • Urinalysis • Vaginal cultures/smear • Annual mammogram, if indicated There is no coverage for the well-woman exam from a Non-Contracting Provider. If your OB/GYN recommends further testing or treatment, you must contact your PCP. He/she may provide the care or determine if a Referral Authorization is necessary.
