What services are covered under the Minnesota Health Plan?
All necessary medical care is covered under the MHP. Under the Minnesota Health Plan, medically appropriate care is completely covered, including primary care, dental, mental health care, hospitalization and prescription medication. Medical equipment, skilled nursing home care, home health care, substance abuse care, prescription glasses and hearing aids are also covered. Elective cosmetic procedures are not covered.
