Individual Options Waiver is for any person disabled before turning age 22 who would otherwise require the services of an intermediate care facility for people with mental retardation. I/O Waiver can pay for: * Homemaker/personal care * Environmental accessibility adaptations * Transportation * Respite care * Social work * Home-delivered meals * Nutrition * Interpreter services * Day Services Array * Specialized medical, adaptive and assistive equipment and supplies * Nursing and skilled therapy To apply, contact your County Board of Developmental Disabilities (DD). There is a waiting list for this waiver.
