What services are available through the Alameda Animal Shelter?
The Alameda Animal Shelter investigates cases regarding nuisance animals, abused or neglected animals, lost or found animals, and sick or injured animals. The shelter is a facility for temporary housing of impounded, stray, quarantined, or unwanted animals. The Animal Shelter is located at 1590 Fortmann Way. Office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The shelter is closed on Sunday, Monday, and Holidays.
