Caregiver support is provided by Senior & Disabled Services through various funding sources: Medicaid (Title XIX) funded in-home services are available to persons with significant personal care needs and have limited monthly income and financial resources. For more information about Medicaid funded in-home services, see the In-Home Care Resources page. Oregon Project Independence (OPI) is an in-home program funded by the State Legislature for older Oregonians (60+ years of age), and for those individuals less than 60 years of age with dementia. It helps people who are not financially eligible for Medicaid-funded in-home care, but who have significant care needs. For more information about OPI, see the Oregon Project Independence page. Senior & Disabled Services’ Lane County Family Caregiver Support Program provides an integrated package of services including, information and assistance, respite, training and support to unpaid caregivers caring for an older adult (age 60+ years of age)
