Dude, you can use Windows media Player and take some of your own CDs and convert them to mp3 format, save to your hard drive, then upload to the mp3 player…and, its easy. Here are simple instructions: open CD tray and put in any of your favorite CDs. Close tray. Windows Media Player usually opens or asks what you want to play the CD with…hit Cancel or allow WMP to open and begin playing the CD. Now, when WMP opens, it will be on the “Now Playing” tab – click on the “Rip” tab. Now, you will see the entire contents of the CD listed in numerical order. Click whatever songs you DONT want to rip (as they will all be checked to include the entire album – if you only want a few songs from that album, only “check” each song you want.) Then, once you have the songs selected that you want, hit “Rip Music” and it will convert them to mp3’s and save them to your My Music folder (you can change that designation as well.)
