What service medals did John McCain win and deserve?
First – Thank You for your Service. I find it hard to disagree with a Veteran BUT you are a Veteran with an agenda which is anti-American. Remnds me of the Kerry campaign. Perhaps you feel you weren’t treated properly, who knows? BUT – YOU ARE WRONG! Silver Stars aren’t handed out for the hell of it. I think living for a period of over 5 YEARS IN HELL certainly qualifies. Especially since he was offered an “Early Out” which would have cut his time in captivity by 4 years. He FOLLOWED the Military Code of Conduct. First In, First Out. I KNOW under what circumstances soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines are awarded medals, but thanks for the primer anyway. Maybe some idiot out there didn’t know and, if they ignore your diatribe, will learn something. My Father was awarded the DFC, Silver Star x2 and a few Purple Hearts. I’ve read the Citations.
