What service does Sergeant Varnier provide to the Gunfighters?
Sergeant Varnier provides ancillary and F-15 specific training to more than 1,800 personnel assigned to the 366th Maintenance Group. Most memorable Air Force moment: “When Lt. Col. Patrick Ballard notified me of my recent selection to Officer Training School. He explained he had some sad news, and then followed it up by saying he was going to miss me because I was on my way to Maxwell AFB, Ala., for OTS.” Interesting personal fact: “I’ve hiked more than 1,800 miles of the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail.” Why does Sergeant Varnier deserve to be a warrior of the week? “Sergeant Varnier’s actions have had a positive effect on the entire wing.
