All NCBI standard FASTA sequence identifiers (NSIDs) are supported for indexing. User-definable, uncontrolled identifiers (UCIDs) consisting of arbitrary text strings are also supported. The complete list of NSIDs is presented in Table 1. Note: the NSIDs include three user types denoted by the tags: lcl, gnl, and oth.
