What security measures are in place to ensure confidentiality?
This site is 128bit SSL secured, and all file transfers are encrypted. All files are permanently destroyed after 8 days. We are registered with the Data Protection Act, Z2424167. Transcripts are securely stored for 60 days. Only key staff have access to the server, and all staff and typists are subject to a legally binding NDA. With regards to the actual transcription work, we use a combination of inhouse and remote typists, with particularly sensitive material being restricted to inhouse staff only. A significant proportion of our remote typists are local to Brighton, and have trained at our offices.
