What security measures are in place at Carr-Saunders?
Carr-Saunders has a number of security features in place and over the past year there have been no reported breaches of security in the hall. Features include: – The front door which operates on the same access card as the bedrooms. These cards can be cancelled if lost and are time limited so even if an ex-resident still has a card it will not work. The front door is also overlooked by reception and operates on an ‘air-lock’ system. – All other external doors of the building are alarmed. – Windows in the Hall are either securely closed or operate on a tilt only mechanism preventing them being used as means of entry. – There is a comprehensive Digital CCTV system in place across the Hall. – Reception is attended 24 hours. – Outside reception hours (from 10pm til 8am every night) security guards are in the hall.
