What security measures are being used by Online Banking and Business Online Banking?
First Bank is committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of your account information. Online Banking uses several different methods to protect your account information: • You must have a valid User ID and Password to log in • We display your previous login date each time you access Online Banking for you to review • If no action is taken for a period of time during a session, you will be automatically logged off Online Banking • You can only access Online Banking with a browser that uses 128-bit encryption • Online Banking uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol for transferring data. SSL is built into Web servers and Web browser software and encrypts data before sending it out over the Internet and unscrambles data on the other end. This ensures you are communicating with the correct server and that the information you send isn’t altered during transfer.
