MPEx code is signed using a digital certificate obtained from Thawte, Inc. When MPEx is run, the user will be prompted on security issues concerning the current operation and given an opportunity to examine the certificate information. At this time the user has an opportunity either to grant or deny permission for the operation. If the user grants the requested permission, MPEx will start normally.
