What security functionality is provided by the TMS zl module?
The TMS zl module is comprised of a stateful zone-based firewall, intrusion detection/prevention system (IDS/IPS), network address translation (NAT), and virtual private network (VPN) gateway. The IDS/IPS signature detection functionality relies on an IPS signature subscription service that may have to be purchased. The J9155A does not include a 1 year IPS subscription service and it must be purchased separately. However, the J9156A does include a 1 year IPS subscription service.
