This was selected as Best Answer There has been a slow down in certain technical areas (particular construction) however, the “Green Space” remains very stable during the economic downturn. We are seeing an increase in jobs within the Renewable Energy and Climate Change sectors. New government legislation regarding Energy Management (through the Carbon Reduction Commitment) will create job opportunities as the scheme will have an impact on nearly 5000 businesses. Already we are working with organisation to bring people In-House to manage these. We are anticipating an increase in onshore and offshore wind farm development and this will provide work for professionals working in the development, construction and management of these sites. CSR and sustainability is continuing to grow but at a slower level than previous years. The salary survey we annually produce for the space highlights that there remains a strong level of confidence in the stability and growth in the sector. Please follo
