For Law Enforcement Deputy: The TABE test consists of three sections: reading, language and math. Applicants must obtain a score of 12.9 in reading and language, and 11.0 in math of the TABE. The BMST consists of a half-mile run and an obstacle course. The run must be completed within 5 minutes and the obstacle course within 2 minutes. CJBAT is pass/fail. For Detention Deputy: The TABE test consists of three sections: reading, language and math. Applicants must obtain a score of 10.0 in all three areas of the TABE. The BMST consists of a half-mile run and an obstacle course. The run must be completed within 5 minutes and the obstacle course within 2 minutes. CJBAT is pass/fail.
