Stoeger recommends that the gun be drilled and tapped to accommodate the Weaver 93 scope base for the best and most reliable fit. Drilling and tapping of the receiver, which is not done by Stoeger, can be done to accommodate most scope bases, but should be done by a qualified gunsmith.
