What schools do OAPS graduates attend upon completing 8th grade?
Approximately half of our graduates attend public schools and half attend private schools. This varies year to year with a trend toward private school. Our graduates have been accepted at schools such as Washington Christian Academy, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Chapelgate Christian Academy, Sandy Spring Friends School, Spencerville Adventist Academy, Takoma Academy, and Shenandoah Valley Academy. Those students attending public schools have been accepted into accelerated programs at Sherwood High School, James Hubert Blake High School, Gaithersburg High School, and Damascus High School.
