i think a freshman anywhere in the world would require a *pen *pencil *eraser *a notebook (to jot down important information, during a lecture or even other information like maybe your daily school time table) * your Identity card (ID) [if your school follows that system] *text books (not really necessary if it is your 1st day, but if your asked to buy a few text books by your school, take 1or 2) & yeh, if your school has the laptop system, then everything changes
