What school subjects are needed to become a mechanic?
It might vary by country. Basic (level one high school) mathematics, science and english are needed in New Zealand for entry into a mechanical engineering trade diploma. However, apprenticeships are also offered by some service dealerships – and in these cases it is up to the employer to set the minimum standard for prerequisite skills.
