What school in Bakersfield Ca offers classes in sonography?
First of all, you cant just take classes. You need to be accepted into a program. BC was going to start a program but lack of funding put that under. Santa Barbara community college has a sonography program but the pre-req is an RN lisence or xray lisence. I dont recommend the trade school programs, the students put out of those programs are useless and arent educated as well as those in college programs. The employers know this and will hire someone from a college program before one from a trade school. Some trade schools arent even qualified to take the national AART exam, which is required to legally work. The trade schools will not tell you this, in fact they will lie and say they are qualified.
