What school did benjamin franklin go to?
He went to Boston Latin School before he, for financial reasons, transferred to Mr. George Brownell’s School for Writing and Arithmetic. His father pulled him out to work in the family business making candles because the large Franklin family needed the money. He educated himself during his spare time. He later recieved honorary degrees from Harvard, Yale, University of St. Andrews (Scotland; Doctor of Laws), and Oxford (for science). It was only after that that he allowed himself to be called ‘Dr. Franklin’.
