What schedule do FireFighter/Paramedics work?

0

A Firefighter/Paramedic’s shift is 24 hours long. His/her schedule is on a three-day cycle. For example he/she is on a shift, then off for two days, then the cycle starts over. It all averages out to a 56-hour work week. We have 3 shifts (A-shift, B-shift, and C-shift). Their day starts at 7:00 A.M. and ends the next day at 7:00 A.M. Keizer also runs a 36 hour Paramedic shift where medics work 3 days on/3 days off from 7am – 7pm.
