What salaries are candidates seeking?
Candidates expect salaries that are at the market level for their qualifications and experience in the industry and location where they will be working. For many candidates, salary is a key motivating factor and they expect to earn more than they would for an equivalent position in their home country. In the charity sector salary expectations are lower than in the commercial sector but most candidates nevertheless seek to be reasonably well remunerated.
