MC samplers must be escorted by trained qualified Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) technicians in areas suspected of containing Munitions and Explosives of Concerns (MEC). Anomaly avoidance must be performed prior to collection of samples or drilling activities. For more information see EP 75-1-2.
