When a mine approaches within 1000 feet of another mine, the operator shall have the working of the adjacent mine surveyed and shown on its mine map. Test holes shall be drilled when any working approach within 200 feet of the surveyed adjacent mine workings. Alternate methods that provide equal safety precautions will need to be handled under Section 702 request.
