What safety measures are in place for students attending night classes?
There are several items that the College would share with you to reduce your concerns: 1. GRCC is staffed during all hours that it is open by Campus Police. These are fully certified law enforcement officers assigned only to the GRCC campus and under the supervision of Chief Cindy Kennell. Campus Police may be contacted by calling 234-4010. 2. In addition to maintaining the overall safety and security of our campus, the Campus Police department offers a student and staff escort service to and from vehicles in College parking ramps. Students may call 234-4010 to use this service. 3. Call boxes that ring directly into the Campus Police office are available in the Bostwick and Lyon Street parking ramps on campus. The call boxes are identified by a blue light. The blue light will begin flashing when the call box is used. Call boxes are located on each ramp level, generally by the stairwells.
