The Tuscan comes with side impact protection in the door panels and a rollcage. There is no ABS, airbags or traction control, although the S version has a Hydratrak limited-slip differential. The bodyshell does offer quite good impact protection as the curved panels do absorb damage well. Rather than crumple, they shatter from impacts.
