What safeguards are taken by the therapist to ensure confidentiality in the e-therapy process?

0

Confidentiality and privacy are important in the therapy process. To ensure the best outcomes, many steps have been taken to guard information and exchanges. The computers used by our therapists are only available to be accessed by each individual therapist, they are password protected and have fingerprint security. We will only use encrypted e-mail with return receipt requested. Chat sessions will be encrypted as well. Credit card processing is done securely, credit card bills will only show a charge to SJ Associates. Finally, no record of e-mails or chat sessions will be saved on the server; this will eliminate the possibility of any accidental disclosure of records or information to any non-agency personnel.

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
