What s the difference between an Express and a Convertible?
A convertible (a sedan is typically a convertible with a smaller cockpit) has a flying bridge with a helm station from which the boat is operated, usually accessed by a ladder from the cockpit. An express is configured more or less on one level (sometimes with a ‘step up’ helm slightly above the cockpit floor level), therefore the helm station is in the forward cockpit area.
