What s the difference between a wood original and a cast plastic sculpture?
All my sculptures start out as hand-carved wood originals. For most of the new sculptures that I’m working on, I will make a mold from the original so I can make limited edition resin castings. The resin I use is similar to the resin material used in fibergalss Corvette bodies. The castings look identical to the original and are still quite rare, no two are ever painted exactly alike.
