What s the best way to care for new our paraments?
Because our paraments are made of the finest fabrics and trimmings we can get, we recommend dry cleaning by a reputable professional dry cleaner on a regular basis. (At least once a year, if these items are regularly used.) Many of the fabrics and trims are woven in the finest mills in the USA and in Europe, and we cannot emphasize enough the importance of quality care to protect them. Do not wait until dust and dirt has permanently set into the fabrics – once this has taken place, even a top level cleaner may not be able to remove the soil without damaging the fabrics. Between periods of use, we recommend storing them flat, wrapped in acid free tissue, or folded over a fabric wrapped pants hanger, with a breathable dust cover.
