Until its implementation in UK law, contracting authorities are advised to follow the text in the new Consolidated Directive when they use eAuctions. This Directive places certain obligations on departments in using eAuctions. For example, departments will be required to state in their OJEU advertisement that they intend to use an eAuction (See question 6 for suggested wording).
