What rules govern boat moorings on Lake Wentworth?
On a number of New Hampshire’s larger lakes, the state requires moorings to be registered. Lake Wentworth is not one of those lakes. Instead, moorings on Wentworth are governed by a state law that stipulates that a mooring must not interfere with navigation or public safety, must not create adverse environmental effects, and must not prevent recreational uses of nearby waters and land.
