What rules does InstaRef use?
InstaRef uses 2009 NCAA rules by default, with the option to use 2008 rules if desired. The option to use Massachusetts high school rules, which are NCAA rules with a few exceptions, is near the top of a very long “to-do” list. Since I’m a high school referee in Massachusetts, I started with the rulesets I know best. I would also like to add support for Texas rules as well, since Texas is the one other state to use NCAA rules in high schools.
