In a front yard, there is a height restriction of 3.5 feet, and in a side or rear yard the maximum height is 7 feet. Corner lots actually have 2 front yards and 2 side yards, so bear that in mind when calculating the allowable height. Corner lots must also consider visibility of traffic and pedestrians.
