What rules apply for front yard landscaping?
For maintenance issues, the following criteria is generally used to determine is a property is in disrepair: plants encroaching on sidewalks, streets or neighboring property, dead plant(s), frost damaged plants not trimmed, missing plants with emitters showing, yard does not have required minimum trees or plants, trees look like a bush (need to raise canopy), bushes should not look like hedges and no palm trees in front yard. If you are adding to your landscaping, you need to submit an ARC form for approval. If you are replacing a dead plant or bush with the same species, then you do not need to apply for approval.
