The series supports these routing options: • Routing Information Protocol (RIP) • RIP2 • Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) • static routes • Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) Supported VPN protocols include Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP), L2TP, L2TP / IPsec, and IPsec with or without a NAT device between the VPN 3000 and the end client. IPsec through NAT is known as NAT Transparency.
