Low voltage cables can then be easily run from each eXapath wall location to a central distribution box/patch panel for connection to sources. Second Floor: When installing on the second floor the eXapath system is designed to create a pathway leading from the second floor wall cavity into the attic. In addition, a main chase (commercially available 1-1/4″ gray schedule 40 PVC conduit, 4″ or larger recommended) running from the attic through the second and first floors and ultimately into the basement is necessary. 1-1/4″ schedule 40 conduit is the perfect complement to the eXapath system with bell-ends and unions that fit securely on the pipe section of the eXapath mounting bracket.
